The character I can relate the most to is The Doctor. I lost (and continue to lose) so many people I deeply cared for in my own life. I lose them because they have to leave, they find someone else, and some of them forget me. While people do come and go in real life, I find it sad that nobody stayed with me. Oh well, I’ll just grab my metaphorical TARDIS and go on, then.
I said that I really hated that Martha left because the doctor didn’t love her back, and you guys start going on about how it was stupid to be there if the doctor loved Rose and blah blah, but don’t you see? she was just there because she was in love with the doctor, not because she liked adventure and those things. That’s what bothered me, how many of us want to be taken by the doctor and she just left.
