I said that I really hated that Martha left because the doctor didn’t love her back, and you guys start going on about how it was stupid to be there if the doctor loved Rose and blah blah, but don’t you see? she was just there because she was in love with the doctor, not because she liked adventure and those things. That’s what bothered me, how many of us want to be taken by the doctor and she just left.

Although I like River Song, I don’t think her and the Eleventh Doctor work that well together. Even though the Doctor has regenerated, I still think he belongs with Rose. Their love for each other was so much stronger than River and the Doctor’s is. It was based on belief in each other and their need to be together instead of nonstop flirting. It makes me sad that even if the Doctor regenerates again, he’ll still be stuck with River because she’s his wife.
